IP block
Hello Universal Omega. This web server is configured incorrectly and uses Amazon IPs instead of user's actual IPs. This means that by blocking IPs with account creation off, you are shutting out anywhere from a fraction of users to everyone. Also, could you possibly change the protection level on Donate? The page is not done and still needs more info. I was in the middle of working on it but it was fully protected due to vandalism Q (talk) 07:00, 16 April 2023 (UTC)

- Hi, while I can't speak for Universal Omega I'll attempt to answer. Regarding the Amazon IP issue, looking at Special:BlockList those IPs don't look like Amazon IPs so I'm not sure where you are getting that information? As for the Donate page it would probably be better if you proposed a changed one by creating it in your userspace first. As you can understand, the page is quite sensitive and as such even a temporary lowering of protection could risk someone changing the link to something else. - 130.176.149.93 is an Amazon IP address, but it looks like the original issue of the web server choosing an Amazon IP and not your own (for example on Special:MyPage) seems to have been fixed now.
- Regarding the donate page, I was the original creator of that page. So if I were to a propose a changed one in my userspace, I think it would make sense for that page to be moved to user space, or possibly to project space. - You may have created the original page but the concept of a wiki is collaborative, just because someone created a page that doesn't mean that they "own" it. The page's history credits every user's contribution. I mean no offence and don't refer to you personally but I think you can understand that not everyone can be trusted on the internet and if the page was unprotected it would be easy to change the link and cause donations to be sent to the wrong account. As for the skin being removed I'm not sure why that was the case so I'll let Universal Omega answer that when he's got time. Reception123 (talk) 13:28, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, sorry, for some reason I missed this, the original issue with the webserver should be fixed now, and as for MonoBook, I did not remove the skin, all skins, except for Vector and Vector-2022 have been removed as global skins, and are now in ManageWikiExtensions.php, I will enable them here on this wiki. Apologies for that inconvenience. As for the Donate page, I think it can have its protection lowered for now, but it was initially protected I believe due to that high volume of vandalism. I can not say it will be forever unprotected, but for the time being I have no issue lowering protection to autoconfirmed as well. Again, I apologise for the issues you have encountered. I’m so very sorry for the Intimidating Behavior/Harassment on AVID
Hi, I’m Damien L here, is really so sorry for this curse words back in April 24, 2022, even after per passed RfC on AVID, I realized the Qanorooq page was there when I was used for deletion and used them. I don’t want to global locked or be a sockpuppetry, I’m so sorry, can you do his one last chance on AVID WikiForge expect for regarding edits which gives a small block and reminders. Since Hibiscus days the Migration and the move was completed, we can move my edits to a new account, we will do RfC, RaP, making page creations, doing the deleting when other users aren’t supposed to and featured media nominations. Can you upload a new version of the file with a resolution of 160x160?, I am using the skin vector 2010 since I am not used to using the vector 2022, and the image that appears on the top left of my screen is a white box with a little bit of orange in the upper left and lower right corner, that's because in that skin the image only shows the 160x160 resolution (80 pixels from any axis (X, -X, Y and -Y) to the center), everything else is ignored, and it's horrible to see only that No se (talk | contribs) 00:56, 22 August 2023 (UTC)
